To summer or not to summer? ahaha excuse the lame jokes, but I'm allowed to, once in a while. My new favourite phrase is "It's too cold and I can't brain today", as said by my friend during parkour. Gotta love verbing. Yes, it's a word now.

I just wanted to move on from that 'getting my brother to wake me up' post, so I dunno what I'm about to spew out here. All I can say is that I am so brow-deep in the written and drawn world of fandom right now . . . Especially Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fanfictions; I never realised how many twin fic AUs there were and now I'm tracking at least three of those! But the best is To That Faraway Sky by cywscross. And anything and everything by metisket (including D.Gray-Man, Reborn!, xxxHolic, Fullmetal Alchemist, Pandora Hearts). I could fic rec more but I'll just shove you in the direction of my list up on Tumblr already here here kitties.

I'm up to some good writing my own stuff too, but progress is slow because I hold back writing down my more developed projects – too precious about it and all that – then refusing to show people unless they're either family or close friends. Well, I haven't quite got to the stage where I can show people what I have, the reason being that I don't actually have that many pieces yet as a result of the aforementioned stalling.
But now I'm pondering writing fanfiction . . . following that line a little for the summer holidays, see if I can gain some confidence in writing itself, before coming back to my babies. So hey! If I write stuff, I'll update on journal entries and I would love some critical feedback when that time comes about. In the meantime, drop me a line, I love discovering new fandoms!

Also this year's movies have been so great. So far my favourites are Iron Man 3 and Star Trek: into Darkness but the latter won over my appreciation for characters, story and aesthetic design straight away. Yet to watch Fast and Furious 6 but getting there soooon – mainly for Gina Carano. I've been told it surprises.
